Vacation Bible School for 2008 is “Outrigger Island: Living God’s Unshakeable Truth.” With the crashing waves of modern-day media, the unpredictable seas of daily family life, and the troubled waters of simply growing up, it is no wonder kids’ belief systems can capsize before they even get started. We cannot change the world in which kids are growing up, but we can equip kids to navigate that world with stabilizing truths that God is real, Jesus is His Son, Jesus is the only way to receive salvation, the Bible is God’s word, and, ultimately, their actions show what they truly believe.

Children entering kindergarten in the fall through students who have just completed 5th grade are invited to plunge into our Vacation Bible School program.

Each evening Wave Riders (the kids) will participate in a large group worship rally at Music Falls and opening bible study at the Bible Study Beach Hut. Afterwards, they will break into small groups to “Island Hop” through Recreation Reef, Craft Cabana, Missions Lookout and the Snack Shack (which will be serving a FREE dinner nightly).

The voyage will begin each evening at 5:00 p.m. and will conclude at 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday July 28th-August 1st. On Sunday August 3rd during the 11 a.m. service, our Wave Riders will perform a special program for their families with a “Luau Luncheon” to follow.
